About This Scholarship
The Carte Blanche Scholarship recognizes graduating high school seniors whose integrity, effort, and care for others reveal their true potential to contribute meaningfully to the world.
We celebrate students who demonstrate character through perseverance, curiosity through initiative, and community through their daily actions. We honor not just achievement, but the grit, heart, and humanity that create real impact.
This scholarship is for students whose character, potential, and determination are evident to those who see them every day.
Am I Eligible?
To apply, you must:
Be a current senior at Midway High School (Waco, TX) or Clear Creek High School (League City, TX)
Graduate in 2026
Plan to enroll in an accredited college, university, or vocational /technical school in Fall 2026
Obtain a Letter of Support from a teacher, counselor, coach, or school staff member
How to Apply
Application Deadline: April 1, 2026
Step 1: Request a Letter of Support
Download the Letter of Support Guidance and give it to a teacher, counselor, coach, or school staff member who knows you well. Ask them to write a letter speaking to your character, effort, and potential. Allow at least one week for completion.
Step 2: Complete the Online Application
You'll answer personal reflection questions about who you are, your journey, and who you want to become.
Step 3: Submit by April 1, 2026
Upload your Letter of Support and personal reflections through our application form.

Contribute to their community
Exhibit grit and determination
Selection is based on:
Letter of Support from your teacher/counselor/coach
Personal reflection responses showing authenticity, self-awareness, and clarity of purpose
